I Finally Found An Off-The-Shoulder Item That Doesn't Make Me Want To Scream
I'm always behind when it comes to fashion trends. Now, don't mistake that as me not wanting to be a part of the hype every now and again — trust me, I love a good trend that sticks (read: skinny jeans and leggings). What I mean is that I am very, very late to the party and am not even sure why.
However, when it came to off-the-shoulder (OTS) clothing items, I wanted to try it out so damn bad, I became frustrated when I couldn't make it work for me. The tops were always too cropped, too small around my chest, or required a bizarre bra that I had to purchase. Don't come for me either: I tried every size and clothing material under the sun. The dresses were just as bad — what is the point of wearing a potato sack-looking thing when I CAN'T EVEN MOVE MY ARMS IN IT?!
So I scrapped the idea of OTS things and didn't think twice. But one day while I was online shopping, I came across the red dress you're about to see — or have seen if you didn't care to read and just scrolled through — and my god I'm so happy I did. I took a chance on it and when it came in the mail I couldn't believe it, I found "the one."
The material makes my heart skip a beat. The quality is incredible and the movement you get with it is what dreams are made of.
Let's also have a moment for the gorgeous rose print; it's so bold and I absolutely love it.
The best part? It has separate armholes so that you don't feel constricted and awkward as hell. I wore this to Ruth's baby shower and felt so free.
I can't stop raving about it and am not stingy when it comes to sharing a great find.
You can buy it on Asos by clicking here. (Fair warning: it's for petite people — I am five feet after all.)
